Game Report on Northwest Guilford-Page Boys Basketball:Vikings go to (5-1) in Conference with Reiber and Perry leading the way with 22 pts. each/Hampton pumps in 19

GAME NOTES:
–Northwest Guilford visited Page in a matchup of 4-A Metro Conference foes. The Vikings did not show up in the 1st quarter and Page jumped out to a 22-4 lead at the end of the frame. The Vikings found a little rhythm in the 2nd quarter and trimmed their deficit to 12 points by halftime. The Vikings came out in the 3rd quarter with a focus that was not present in at all in the 1st half. They were able to share the basketball and force the Pirates into a number of turnovers and take a slim 46-45 lead into the 4th quarter. During the final period, Northwest was able to make 12 of 15 free throws and secure a 69-56 win over Page.
–Tristan Perry led the Vikings with 22 points and 3 assists. Dean Reiber contributed 22 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 blocks for Northwest while Christian Hampton finished with 19 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals, and 2 blocks. Noah Allred {4 rebounds} and Brandon Thomas {4 assists} along with Johnny Pagano {3 steals} provided a number of hustle plays throughout the night. Jacob Riddles, Tommy Smith, Landry Garris, and Robbie Boulton along with the rest of the Vikings provided energy and encouragement to their teammates throughout the game.
–Page was led by T. Mc Intyre with 18 points while J. King finished with 14 points for the Pirates.
