Bishop McGuinness took on rival Mt. Airy (#5 in state) at home Tuesday night and gave the Bears all that they could handle. Without starting PG Ryan Moon (hand) and third leading scorer Andrew Budzinski (flu) the Villains had a 4 point lead in the 4th quarter. CJ Cappuccio led Bishop with 20 tough points. Mark Palmisano and Phil McDonough had nice games as well adding 10 and 9 points respectively. The Villains will host Winston-Salem Prep on Friday for Bishop’s senior night.
