  1. Some kind of success for Guilford County last year with SWG boys 4-A Champs, NWG girls 4-A Champs, Northern Guilford girls 3-A Champs and Eastern Guilford boys 3-A runners-up…..

That is some kind of finish for 2017 and we top it or match it this year….EG boys, NWG and NG girls are still, plus Smith boys and others looking to leave their mark….

The PAGE boys have had a great run in the playoffs in recent years….The Pirates on the men’s side seem to peak at this time of year/playoff time….

Last year(2017) Page vs. SWG in the 4-A Sectional Finals at SWG….Before that Regional Finals vs. Lake Norman, and Page was just one game away from the State Championship that season and that must have been 2014, then there was 2015 vs. Ardrey Kell in the Regional Semis for Page and then there is this year with Page in the sectional finals at Charlotte Olympic….

Page has been a strong post-season team in recent years and they are looking to keep their run going this season, as well…Page made some good runs for the states, back when Coach Robert Kent was there too, but recent years, it has been under coaches Matt Harder and James Abell…

14, 14, 17 and now 18, and some pretty good runs late in the year for the Pirates….
