Lambert had Guilford’s low round Saturday with a three-under 69, matching a career low in his very short college career. His round was fourth-lowest in the field Saturday.

An eagle three on 18 helped Hill shoot a one-under 71.

Aided by a tournament-low 65 by Aaron Purviance and two even-par rounds, fifth-ranked Methodist delivered Saturday’s low team score (282) and climbed four spots into the lead with a 36-hole 575 (-1).
