The local Guilford County kids are doing OK for themselves in college baseball, on the ACC level, with first baseman Evan Edwards(Southern Guilford HS) going 1-3, with a HR and 2 RBI for State on Saturday in the Wolfpack’s 6-1 victory over Clemson and you had catcher Patrick Bailey, from Wesleyan Christian Academy, going 2-3, with 2 runs scored for the Pack and then J.T. Jarrett, State’s second baseman from Northern Guilford HS, had a sacrifice for the Red and White and all turned out to be a good night/day for N.C. State….

N.C. State picked up the 6-1 win over Clemson and after Saturday’s victory, N.C. State has begun their 2018 season at (17-3) and last check they were leading Clemson in the third game between the Tigers and the Wolfpack this weekend, with State up 5-4 in the ninth, and going for the three-game sweep over Clemson…..
*****N.C. State has just won that Sunday afternoon game over Clemson and now State sits at (18-3) on the season and in today’s victory by the Pack, Evan Edwards goes 1-4 and Patrick Bailey went 1-2…..*****
