Men’s Golf Goes Under Par To Finish 10th At Jekyll Island

JEKYLL ISLAND, Ga. – The Greensboro College men’s golf team carded a 2-under par on the final day of the 2018 Jekyll Island Collegiate Invitational Sunday, finishing in a tie for 10th.

Scott Campbell turned in one of his best rounds of the season as he finished the round at 5-under par (67), completing the 54-hole event in a sixth-place tie at 3-under par.

Starting on the back nine, Campbell tallied two birdies and one bogey over the first three holes before completing the back at two-under par. He then recorded a par on the par-5 first before birdieing the next three holes before closing out the round with five pars.

Luke Grogan and Jacob Neal also turned in an under-par final round. Grogan finished in a 26th-place tie at 3-over par, while Neal finished at 9-over par in a tie for 63rd.

Levi Grogan (t-63, +9) and Austin Coble (145, +36) also competed for the Pride.
