McGuire Earns All-Conference Honors, While Corey Named All-Sportsmanship

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Scotty McGuire was named to the USA South Athletic Conference Baseball Second-Team All-Conference, the conference announced Wednesday.
McGuire, a sophomore catcher from Tampa, Fla., appeared in and started 26 games for the Pride throughout the season.
In his 26 games of action, McGuire posted a team-leading .365 batting average, while accumulating 35 total hits including eight doubles.
McGuire also ranked second on the team with eight doubles, while posting 15 RBI.
In addition to McGuire’s second-team nod, senior Nick Corey was named to the All-Sportsmanship team.
