Southern Alamance Patriots Varsity Grabs Lead in Fifth Inning for Victory Over Southeast Guilford

Southern Alamance Patriots Varsity took the lead late and defeated Southeast Guilford 11-1 on Friday. The game was tied at one with Southern Alamance Patriots Varsity batting in the top of the fifth when Shayli Martin singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

Martin led Southern Alamance Patriots Varsity to victory by driving in four runs. She went 2-for-3 at the plate. Martin drove in runs on a single in the fifth.
