Even though Southern Alamance Patriots Varsity gave up four runs in the seventh inning, they still defeated Eastern Guilford 9-5 on Friday. The offensive onslaught by Eastern Guilford was led by Obryan, Autrell, Wright, and Wilson, who each had RBIs in the inning.

Southern Alamance Patriots Varsity fired up the offense in the first inning. An error scored one run for Southern Alamance Patriots Varsity.

Southern Alamance Patriots Varsity scored three runs in the third inning. The big inning was thanks to a triple by Shayli Martin and a home run by Lauren Staley.

Isley Duggins earned the win for Southern Alamance Patriots Varsity. She allowed four hits and zero runs over five and a third innings, striking out six and walking one. Alexis Young threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Simmons took the loss for Eastern Guilford. She lasted six innings, allowing ten hits and nine runs while striking out eight.

Southern Alamance Patriots Varsity socked two home runs on the day. Staley went for the long ball in the third inning. Abi Stuart had a four bagger in the sixth inning.
