Elon Track and Field Duo Claims CAA Week Honors

RICHMOND, Va. – Senior Bryanna Hames and junior Coralea Geraniotis of the Elon University women’s track and field team were selected as the Colonial Athletic Association Women’s Field and Track Athlete of the Week, respectively, for the second time this season as released on Tuesday, April 24.

Both athletes shared their respective awards with Hames garnering co-weekly accolades with Leia Mistowski of William & Mary. Geraniotis and Towson’s Megan Kelly shared the league’s track accolade.

Geraniotis collects her second CAA Women’s Track Athlete of the Season after the Orleans, Mass., native broke her own school-record in the 5,000-meters last Saturday, April 21, at the Duke Invitational.
