First year Head Boys Basketball coach Michael McDuffie has resigned from Caldwell Academy.

McDuffie, who was a 4-year starter at point guard for current Head Coach Bryan Galuski at Greensboro College led the Eagles to a 19-7 record overall and 9-1 in conference. In addition, Coach McDuffie guided Caldwell to a regular season Triad Athletic Conference championship, tournament championship and a 2nd round appearance in the NCISAA state playoffs. He coached 3 all-conference selections and was Coach of the Year in the Triad Athletic Conference.

Would be a steal for any program as a head or assistant. Young energetic guy that knows the game and is a players coach. Not sure where Coach McDuffie’s next stop will be but wherever he lands, they would be getting a good one!!!!!!
