By using this name, it sort of signifies what is happening and going on over in High Point right now, and you recognize the effort and “Progress” of the Downtown Movement, that is currently taking place, in the ‘Chair City’)…..

With the ground broken and construction of BB&T Point well underway, it’s time to get your team named! What’s in a name? Everything! We have so much to draw from in coming up with a team name. After all, High Point has an incredible history in furniture, textiles, trains, and even bus manufacturing, not to mention our Southern charm, culture, hospitality, flora and fauna. Great team name options abound. What’s yours?!
Submit your name for the team and have the opportunity to be among the first fans to purchase the team’s first t-shirt and baseball cap with the team name you helped to determine. Complete the form with your contact information and you will be entered to win the single Grand Prize of two (2) 2019 Season Tickets, one (1) Official Team Jersey and an opportunity to throw out a first pitch during the 2019 season. Here’s The Plan:
May 2nd – May 31st – Submit your suggested team name below.
June 7th – Top Nine (9) Names revealed during a major downtown live event.
June 14th – We whittle it down via your voting to the Serious Six (6) Names.
June 21st – Now we post the Big & Final Three (3) Names to vote on.
June 28th – Showtime! We will reveal the team name online!
July 12th – Major downtown event to reveal the team logo and marks. Fans who pre-order the official team logo t-shirt and baseball cap can pick them up.
