Greensboro Resident Joey Motsay Attempting to Break Guiness Workd Record and Help End Childhood Hunger

Joey Motsay and his Punches4Lunches team have been preparing for over a year to accomplish their 4th Guinness World Record and raise seed money to begin the Punches4Lunches Childhood Hunger Endowment For Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina. To date, Joey has raised over $200,000 for charities by breaking Guinness World Records for Longest Spin Bike Marathon (175 hours and 50 minutes), Longest Jump Rope Marathon (33 hours and 20 minutes), and on his 50th birthday, the Farthest Car Push in 24 hours (50 miles). To ring in his 55th birthday, Joey will be attempting to break the Guinness World Record Marathon for hitting a Punching Bag. With the present record for the Punching Bag Marathon at 52 hours, Joey’s goal is to go 55 hours and raise $55,000 as seed money for and endowment to support the work of Second Harvest Food Bank to address childhood hunger for many years to come.

Joey begins his marathon effort THIS THURSDAY, MAY 17, at 6 a.m. at Positive Stress Workout in Greensboro and continues through Saturday, May 19 in the early afternoon.
