WR Michael Wyman(Dudley HS) gets college offer from Rutgers and this is one more of many:”Mama, There Goes That Man Again”

The high school football season will not officially begin until around August 17, but for the Dudley Panthers’ wide receiver, Michael Wyman, it has been a busy off-season….

Michael, one of the top wide receiver prospects in our area, just received an offer from Rutgers today and in the past week he also got an offer from Purdue….

Rutgers and Purdue, those are just two, yes just a few, of the the offers Michael Wyman has been receiving, as the rising senior wide receiver has also heard from South Carolina, Tennessee, North Carolina, Kentucky, Maryland, Florida, Duke, plus an abundance of other DI schools and plenty of DII’s are on the table and if you read the lead on his twitter page that keeps showing up, it is a pretty good outlining statement when it says,
“Mama, There Goes That Man Again”….

And the offers just keep on pouring in and now all Michael Wyman has to is go out and catch around 100 passes in the Dudley 7 on 7’s and then another 25-30 more in the Dudley scrimmages and then top that off with say 75-100 receptions in the regular season and next year at the N.C. A&T Middle College graduation, they will be singing,
“Mama, There Goes That Man Again”….

CLICK HERE for Michael Wyman on his Twitter page, and as for all those catches that we said he needs to make in 2018, as he finishes up/concludes his high school career??? I once caught 200 passes in a Thanksgiving Day Football game, but we were playing 2-on-2 and it was a big field, but 200 receptions and 50 TD’s in one game??? And I didn’t hear anybody saying, “Mama, There Goes That Man Again”, as we walked off the muddy tundra….

Check out Michael Wyman and his Dudley teammates, for instance Landon Johnson, Jurriente Davis, Richard Monroe IV, Payton Paige, Alston Hooker, Eduardo Turnbull and many others, and former Dudley assistant coach Dennis Williamson says, “Dudley will contend again, in 2018″……

  1. Dudley Panthers football schedule is up ! Home games against Ragsdale Aug 24th and Southeast Guilford Sept 14th, road games at Page Aug 31 and Smith Oct 5 . No sign of Grimsley or Northern Guilford on our schedule . Me thinks they are ducking the D Boyz…

  2. Wonder who is the toughest team on the Dudley schedule, would it be:

    1)Page
    2)Mount Tabor
    3)Southwest Guilford
    4)Southeast Guilford
5)Ragsdale or do you see it taking a different order of difficulty?????

  3. Like the list Andy , I would only add Durham Hillside at # 4 because that is always a barn burner contest on the road. Looking forward to the season .

  4. You are probably right about Hillside…There have been some very good Dudley-Hillside games over the past several years….

Hillside’s QB from last year was hard to keep up with,
but most of the time over the years, Dudley has proven to have the edge…
