Kelly Clark Named Head Football Coach at T. Wingate Andrews High School

T. Wingate Andrews High School has selected Kelly Clark as Head Football. Clark is a Raleigh native and graduate of Sanderson High School. He played quarterback at Winston-Salem State University for coaches Pete Richardson and Kermit Blount. Kelly Clark is a Business Education teacher and has a B.S in Business Management and a Master’s in Business Education from Ashford University.

Coach Clark led the Red Raider football program for the 2017 season serving as interim Head Coach. He had a record of 4-8 during the 2017 season, which included a 4-2 PAC-7 2A conference second place finish, and a NCHSAA 2A Mid-East 1st round playoff appearance. Clark started his coaching career in 2002 as an assistant coach at Southwest Guilford and has been a part of the Red Raider Football program since 2008.

Coach Clark will be officially introduced to the team on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 5pm in the school’s media center. Parents, boosters, alumni and friends are welcome to attend.
