  1. How Dudley #1 they beat an easy Carver squad, meanwhile Page had to compete against a tough Davie team

  2. Dudley is #1 because they were preseason #1. Just because your team beat maybe the 3rd best team in the CPC by 1 score in the 4th qtr you want the Page team to get moves ahead of Dudley? Page’s win was not impressive at all. Everyone wants to give Davie all this credit now. Davie is an average football team.

  3. Nice to see the Dudley-Page talk already heating up. Their game Aug. 31 at Marion Kirby Stadium is the game of the year in Guilford County as long as both teams take care of business Friday night.

  4. What ranking is this, every ranking I seen had Page #1 starting the season. Page special teams was not good. Dudley blew out a not even average carver. See you on Aug 31.

  5. That’s okay everyone sleep on us. When the Pirates roll into town and lay the smackdown on y’all’s team you will know we are for real. After we shut up the Dudley fans we will shut up all the East Forsyth fans too. Then what can yall say around here after we beat the best teams in both counties? Get ready cause its coming. Arrr

  6. For some reason, the booty always seems to evade the Pirates when it’s crunch time ala MC or Wake Forest. Ironic isn’t it lol.

  7. Here is how the last 5 seasons of Page vs. Dudley have gone….

2017:Dudley wins 19-14…Page only lost 2 games all season long, the early-season loss to Dudley and the final game of the year, in the playoffs to Mallard Creek…

2016:Page wins 23-22…One of best high school football games in recent Greensboro high school football history…Goal line stand at the end for Page, keeping Dudley out of the end zone and preserving the Pirates’ victory…

    2015:Dudley wins 35-7…

    2014:Dudley wins 44-7…

    2013:Dudley wins 28-7…

Dudley has been dominant in the series over the past five years and Dudley has two State Title, over that time span, while Page has been there in the state Championship Game twice….

Very good series and the matchups were even more eventful and impactful when Page and Dudley were both still in the Metro 4-A Conference together….

  8. As the season just got started, I will say one advantage Page has going into the new year, is their experience at QB with Paige at Page and in for his junior year after a full year of full-time service for the Pirates, as a sophomore…That could prove to be a plus for the Pirates vs. the Panthers, but we will have to wait and see…

Page has been re-building their offensive line and the Pirates lost some key bodies at LB on defense and maybe Dudley calls for an edge at those spots/positions….

We have to get through this week’s games first and then it will be on like a neckbone, as our local attorney Jan Pritchett used to say, back in the day….

  9. Why are Page fans talking about EF? All I know is from what I saw in 7v7 & scrimmages I wouldn’t circle the EF game as a W just yet Page.
