LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Greensboro College men’s golf team sits in seventh place at the 2018 Transylvania Fall Invitational at the University Club of Kentucky Golf Course, following 36-holes.

Pride newcomer Zach Swink sits as the top Pride performer after finishing the day at 1-over par.

Swink carded a two-under par 72 in Round 1 before carding a 75 in Round 2.

All-American Scott Campbell is just one stroke behind his Greensboro teammate in a tie for 18th.

Connor Brown (t-38, +6), Zane Smith (t-47, +8) and Davis Reynolds (t-67, +15) are also competing for Greensboro.

“We came out hot early today but failed to keep the momentum after the rain delay,” Head Coach Jim Cantamessa said. “Zach (Swink) was solid all day and had a good performance in his first collegiate tournament.

“We need more birdies tomorrow to improve our position.”

The Pride men will close out the 54-hole event Sunday. For more information on Greensboro College men’s golf, continue to follow www.greensborocollegesports.com.
