DANVILLE, Va. – Marcus Curry and Will Leckonby scored 14 points apiece in Guilford College’s 75-56 nonconference basketball win at Averett University Tuesday night. The Quakers had four students score 10 or more points and made a season-high 11 three-pointers in their second straight victory.

The Quakers led for most of the game and the entire second half. The Cougars managed just 30 percent shooting from the floor and committed 18 turnovers that led to 24 Guilford points. Guilford’s lead grew to as many as 25 points late in the game.

Curry made just two field goals but connected on nine-of-13 free throws and a three-pointer. He also contributed six rebounds and four assists.
