Looking at some of those College Basketball Numbers for our ladies hoop players:Monk(SWG/ECU), Kea(Page HS/UNC), Cunane(Northern Guilford HS/N.C. State) and others

Women’s College Basketball Games played from back over the weekend:

Lashonda Monk(Southwest Guilford High School) paced the East Carolina Pirates’ team with 25 points, five rebounds and nine steals, as ECU topped Wake Forest, in women’s basketball, 70-61…That 25 points is really getting it on for Monk, but those nine steals, that is a sight to behold…..ECU(5-0) to begin the new season….

Paris Kea(Page High School) had 14 points versus the University of South Florida, 15 points vs. UCLA and 13 points vs. Kentucky, over last Thursday, Friday and Saturday, as her UNC Tar Heels defeated USF and UCLA, then the Heels lost to Kentucky on Saturday, 85-75….All three of these games played over the Thanksgiving Holiday, at St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands…..UNC(5-2) overall….

In the Cancun Challenge, Cancun, Mexico, Elissa Cunane(Northern Guilford High School) had 8 points and three rebounds vs. Michigan State and Cunane, making the most out of Cunane in Cancun, scored 18 points and grabbed 6 rebounds in the N.C. State Wolfpack’s win over George Washington….N.C. State now (6-0) to begin the women’s basketball season and the Packed picked up two wins with Cunane in Cancun, 69-61 over George Washington and State defeated Michigan State, 78-74….N.C State(6-0) vs. Michigan(5-1) in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge this Thursday, in Raleigh…..

Jazmin Harris(Eastern Guilford High School) scored 4 points vs. Liberty University and Harris came back with 7 points against Lehigh this past weekend up on Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, as Harris’ Charlotte 49ers defeated Liberty 63-61 and then Charlotte got past Lehigh, 62-60, and that gives Charlotte a (4-1) record to bein the season…..
