Former James Madison head football coach Mike Houston passes on the Charlotte job and will become the new head coach at East Carolina University

Mike Houston has landed…..

Houston, who has gone (80-25) in his eight years as a college head football coach, is going take the job and become the next head football coach, at East Carolina University…

Houston has been a college head football at Lenoir-Rhyne University, home of the LR Bears, Houston was the head coach at The Citadel, in Charleston, South Carolina, where he led the Bulldogs and most recently, Houston has been leading the James Madison Dukes up in Harrisonburg, Virginia and Mike Houston led his JMU Dukes to the NCAA FCS Championship in 2016 and his Dukes finished second in the FCS in 2017 and this year Houston’s Dukes got knocked out in the NCCAA Second Round this past Saturday, at Colgate….

Houston was (14-1) in 2016 and followed that up with another (14-1) record in 2017….That right there alone, should get him all the money he needs, as he becomes the new head coach for the East Carolina Pirates, with a Press Conference set for Tuesday morning….

Houston is a proven winner and now let’s see what he can do on the FBS level and find out is Houston is the man, that the ECU Pirates have been looking for….The “Scottie Montgomery Experiment” turned out to be a ‘crash and burn’ trip to lab and now Houston will get his Pirate Rocket Ship loaded, and prepare to launch it right into the face of the future foes the Pirates are getting ready to tackle….

With Mike Houston in Greenville, they do have a Liftoff and lets find out if this Facelift is just what the Pirates ordered!!!!!!!!!!
