HPU WBB’s Bockrath Named Big South Player of the Week

HIGH POINT, N.C. – Senior Emma Bockrath was named Big South Player of the Week the conference announced today (Dec. 3).

Bockrath led Panthers with 17 points, seven rebounds, four assists and five steals against Davidson Monday, Nov. 26. She added 19 points and a game-high 10 rebounds in the win over Greensboro College Thursday, Nov. 29. She dished out four assists and snagged three steals against the Pride. The Dayton, Ohio native led the team with six assists and four steals in the 82-75 win over UNCG Saturday, Dec. 1. She added 10 points and five rebounds in the win. She currently ranks second in the Big South in points per game (17.0) and steals per game (3.4). Bockrath is third in the league in assists/turnover ratio at 1.3, fourth in assists per game at 3.6, sixth in shooting percentage at .443 and ninth in rebounds per game at 6.9.

The Panthers will be back in action Wednesday, Dec. 5, as they travel to Clemson, S.C. to take on Clemson. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m. at Littlejohn Coliseum.
