Update on Southeast Guilford Football Practice Plans for this week

Friday night at Kenan Stadium in Chapel Hill, we have the Southeast Guilford Falcons going for the NCHSAA 3-AA Football Title, as the Falcons(14-1) face the Weddington Warriors(14-1)…

After the snow day on Monday, it is back to regular practice for the SEG Falcons today/Tuesday….

Well, at least almost regular practice.

We spoke to Coach Kennedy Tinsley this morning, and the chief flight operator for the ‘Flying Falcons’ told us the Falcons would be practicing and working out today/this afternoon at Proehlific Park, out on Horsepen Creek Road, at Jessup Grove Church Road…

Southeast will go this afternoon from 2-4 at the Proehlific Park and then as for the rest of the week, it is going to be just like one of those LONG Ryan Douglas'(SEG QB) passes…”It is still up in the air”….

The rest of the week’s workouts are now, “wait and see for SEG”…

Got to wait for the word on Wednesday and then find out if SEG plans to leave early and practice at the indoor facility at UNC, in Chapel Hill, on Thursday…..

This week is still a work-in-progress for the Southeast Guilford Falcons and their 3-AA East Regional Champion football team, but they are set for their 2-4pm workout/indoor practice today, at Proehlific Park…Players will have to meet at the school(Southeast Guilford High School) and the players’ parents will have to drive them to Proehlific Park…

Since school is closed today, the Guilford Schools System will not allow SEG to bus their players to Proehlific Park….Car Pooling it will be…Proehlific Park, here comes the “Orange Army”, also known in some flight circles, as the “Flying Falcons”….

  1. Weddington only had a 2 he delay on sc h pool so they are on a regular practice schedule. Move Friday’s game back one week is the fair thing plus it will not be a mud bowl.
FALCONS HAVE OVERCOME ADVERSITY AS A TEAM ALL YEAR, l believe in the Falcons.
