GAME NOTES:
–Northwest Guilford and Cary faced off for another Saturday afternoon matchup for the Vikings. The first quarter started off to be a slow grind for both teams. Northwest was able to establish a lead into the second quarter sparked by transition buckets. The score was 26-23 going into the break. Cary took control in the third scoring 20 points in the quarter alone. The fourth quarter continued to be back and forth between both teams but ultimately the Vikings were able to pull out the victory in the final minutes.
–Dean Reiber led the Vikings with 32 points and 10 rebounds. Christian Hampton had 10 points and 4 assists. Robbie Boulton, Brandon Thomas and Johnny Pagano had 6 points respectively. Shaq Marsh and Landry Garris had 4 and 3 points each.
–Cary was led by J. Fortuny with 31 points. B. Keith had 9 points followed by J. Moore with 5 points. J. Harris, B. Quiller and W. Matejowsky had 4 points respectively. J. Cannady had 1 point.
