GAME NOTES:
–Northwest Guilford played host to High Point Central in the opening game of the Metro 4A conference play for both teams. The Vikings got out to an early lead in the first quarter that they wewre able to sustain throughout the majority of the game. The Vikings led 38-24 going into halftime. The second half the Vikings continued to push the ball in transition and apply defensive pressure, scoring 18 points in the third quarter and 17 in the fourth. After a hard fought battle on both ends Northwest prevailed with a final score of 73-50.

–Christian Hampton led Northwest with a double-double of 23 points and 10 assists. Johnny Pagano had 13 points and Brandon Thomas had 12 for the Vikings. Dean Reiber had 11 points and 10 rebounds. Landry Garris had 4 points while Khari Carson had 3 points. Josh Humphrey, Jake Kawalec and Robbie Boulton all had 2 points a piece. Shaq Marsh had 1 point.

–Ohieu Deing had 11 points while Jamel Marbury had 10 for the Bison. Jyree Ford and Trent Westray had 7 points a piece. Will Gillis had 6 points and Kuluel Mading chipped in 4. Amarie Jefferies had 3 points and Tre Hill finished with 2.
