East Forsyth jumped out to a 10-2 lead and never trailed enroute to a 54-45 win at Glenn Tuesday night in Kernersville. The Eagles, now 13-6, led by as many as 13 points (42-29) & controlled the tempo throughout the important Central Piedmont 4A Conference game.

The Bobcats, who won last month at East, tied the game at 19-19 just before the end of the second quarter but field goal and 2 free throws by Zyun Reeves in the final 30 seconds of the half put the Eagles back in front for good.

Glenn closed its deficit to five (49-44) with two minutes remaining but two free throws by Khaliq McCummings--the game's leading scorer with18 points--and a power drive by Savon Brintley on East's next two possessions sealed the Eagles fourth CPC victory.

Matt Rivers joined McCummings as one of three players in double figures with 11 points and grabbed a game-high 10 rebounds. Sophomore center Reeves added 11 points and nine rebounds for the winners, who travel to Reagan Friday night. Jeremiah Scales & Julius Reese scored 11 & 10 respectively for Glenn.
