Note from one of our readers:
Swann pushes forward once again!! This time for the Conference Championship 43-40….I’m amazed by the way this team handled adversity throughout the season and being able to turn it around. Also whenever #2 DJ Workman and #3 Gio get clicking with each other not only on the scoring end but rebounding part they can do damage. They also have other good players to help them win who I heard are mostly 6th and 7th graders…..

Cross County Conference Tournament:
Penn Griffin boys finished the season undefeated in regular season and tournament play 15-0. Friday night we won the Cross County tournament championship 36-30 against Southern Guilford. First championship in school history for any sport! Woodrow Jackson Jr, Kobe George, and Corben Clinton lead the way for us but it was a full team effort!

PG finished undefeated in the conference and non conference with their only non-conference win being over Southwest Guilford in the 1st game of the season.

Big 7 Boys Conference Tournament Championship Game from Southwest Guilford Middle School:

JMS was leading after the first half and then SWG earned the Championship in the 2nd half with outstanding play and excellent coaching from the SWG staff…Hats off to both of these teams, on a fine season…..

The Southeast Falcons Boys basketball team lost against Southwest Middle in semifinals conference tournament competition 40-29….
Leading scorers were Nick Caldwell with 19 points, Rashaud Carter with 5 points, and also contributing were Ryan Stephens and Anthony Pierson…..
