++++++++++Lots of college coaches and pro scouts will be in attendance. There are a good group of unsigned college prospects plus some already verbally committed that will be playing.

Dave Beasley, Southeast Guilford head coach and Tournament Director, has done a great job putting together a strong field. This brings the Farm Bureau/Grasshoppers Tournament to the forefront of High School tourneys.

Thanks again to our sponsors, Farm Bureau, Kyle Foust at Floor Covering Headquarters, and Pleasant Garden Drug for their assistance is making this tournament happen…..++++++++++

  1. Looks like business is about ready to pick up for SEG Falcons…

@sehsfalcons unveils new signature academy: Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering for rising freshmen 2019-2020 school year….

  2. Thanks for all you do for all HS athletes in Guilford County and the surrounding area. We are lucky to have you around Andy. A ton of college prospects will be there. College coaches are calling in already requesting pairing sheets and info for this tourney and the Regional Scouting Bureau for MLB has it posted on their site. It should be a great tourney. Dave Beasley has done a super job putting it together.
This tourney even awards college scholarship money to the players.

  3. There are other academies opening up just like the one at Southeast at other GCS high schools including Northeast Guilford, Western Guilford, and Smith. Why are you only commenting about the Southeast academy? Maybe stop being so biased in your coverage and start promoting athletics across ALL Guilford County Schools

  4. This was the only one I saw on Twitter and that is why I posted it…If I see the others listed, I will post them too…I have mentioned the Smith Academy and the new Western Guilford program in previous posts…You must have missed it…

Good to hear NEG is getting a program too…I have talked to Mr. Kassabarra many times about the WG offerings…

If was I was going to be bias, I would be Bias toward Len and Jay, they could have used more coverage…

I am posting what I see out there on social media and that’s the bottom line….

If we are not doing enough, I guess we will have to suck it up and do some more, like our old buddy Fatty Fatty Two-by-Four….

  5. Everybody is always looking for a reason to be offended Andy. Its the new American way. I think maybe because SE hosts the Farm Bureau Classic, Southeast was on your mind.
