NICHOLSVILLE, Ky. – The Pride’s Scott Campbell saw his run at the NCAA Division III Championship come to an end Wednesday at the Keene Trace Golf Club.

Campbell, who entered Wednesday’s second round in a tie for 81st after carding a five-over par 77 Tuesday, moved up 14 spots on the leader board but fell short of the cut line after carding yet another five-over par round.

This time it was on the par-72 Champion Trace Course.

After recording three straight pars to open his round, Campbell bogeyed the par-4 fourth before running off a string of four straight pars.

However, after recording a double bogey on the par-4 ninth, Campbell played the back nine at two-over par to finish the day.

With his 10-over par finish, Campbell finished in a 67th-place tie with 11 other golfers. Only nine golfers finished the first 36 holes at even par or better.
