4 thoughts on “East-West All-Stars Football Game Tonight at Jamieson Stadium:Player Bios, Team Roster and Drop-Add Player Movement

  1. The East-West game is no longer needed. It has just become something to do because it has always been. The best players have not participated in this game in 15-20 years. it is a pity. I guess the Coaches Association needs some continued revenue.

  2. We don’t see Roman Johnson on the drop list so maybe it is one of those things where he was not selected on the original list…

I do remember some instances where a player will let the organizers know in advance, that I’m not playing due the college I will be attending wanting me to enter school early, and be in their Summer School program and Summer workout program…

In that case, the player’s name would never pop up on the Roster or list to begin with…

Some folks with Southeast Guilford High School, were upset that no Falcons made the list/West squad, since SEG made it all the way to the 3-AA State Championship game last season…

Most of the SEG seniors are already in college or playing other sports in college, and focusing on those sports…

SEG QB Ryan Douglas, from 2018 is at UNC-Asheville working on his baseball, Chad Stephens is already working on his college football at ECU, Tre Caldwell is coming off an injury and on his way to college at Lenoir Rhyne, I believe….Brett Shreve is probably doing wrestling or no football in college….

Your best bets from Southeast’s 3-AA East Regional Championship team of 2018, might have been linemen Quantez Mansfield and Ruben Thrasher, but not sure if those two are playing college football or not…

I remember WR Brent Morehead from SEG teams long gone by and also RB Ernie Woods, from the SEG Falcons, back in the day, but those were many years ago….

Not sure how many Falcons have made the All-Stars since Morehead and Woods, but SEG has the goods, and now it is just figuring out how to use and multiply the goods……

  3. Southeast:
    Tre Caldwell at App State
    Quantez Mansfield at Central
    Chad Stephens at ECU
    Ryan Douglas at UNCA

Brett Shreve, Jalen Stockham, and Ruben Thrasher all heading to Guilford.

    Braxton King to Greensboro College.
