College Women’s Cross Country News: Winder Leads Quakers At ODAC Preview

SALEM, Va. – The Guilford women’s cross country team traveled to Roanoke College for the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Preview on Saturday.

Bridgewater (Va.) saw Calista Ariel cross the tape first in 22:09.9 and English Jackson take second with a time of 22:21.9 on the six kilometer course. Washington and Lee’s Sara Stephenson (22:25.7), Parker Hawk (23:17.0), and Didi Pace (23:29.8) rounded out the top-five.

Washington and Lee finished first as a team with a score of 34. Lynchburg finished second, while Southern Virginia earned third place.

Guilford’s Emily Winder placed 24th overall with a time of 24:51.9, which is the 10th fastest time in program history. Rania Ettorchi crossed the line in 33:22.1, while Ananya Bernardo finished in 33:39.3.

The Quakers are back in action on Friday, September 27 at the Queen City Invite in Charlotte, N.C.
