WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Guilford women’s soccer team defeated Piedmont International University, 3-2, in overtime on Saturday afternoon.

Karol Jaimes put the Quakers (2-2-1) up 1-0 early in the contest with a tally at the 10:29 mark.

The Bruins’ (2-2-1) Kelsie Simpson responded with goals at 12:46 and 17:30 to give her team the 2-1 advantage.

Guilford struck back in the second half to tie the game when Kaylee Zabava found the back of the net with help from Claudia Mendez.
