After 53 years on the Football Field, Local Official to hang up his Whistle on Friday Night:”Whistle Blower” says no more

Got the word today from Mr. Barker, the lead football official at the Eastern Guilford-Kiser Middle School game…And the word is that local football official Curtis Wrenn will turn in his whistle after Friday night’s game at Western Alamance…

This official has been blowing the whistle for 53 years in the Triad/Triangle area, and after Friday night he will hear no more complaints, it is going to be officially over for Curtis Wrenn and he won’t be blowing his whistle again….

After 53 years on the football field, Curtis Wrenn will step away from the game, after Friday night’s game…

Come Friday night when the last play is done, the “Whistle Blower” say no more….

Thank-you Curtis Wrenn for you 53 years of service….
