The Carolina Cobras announce the signing of the son of former two-time Superbowl Champion Willie Green with WR/LB Jaren Colston-Green.

Jaren Colston-Green (6’2” 185, Utah State) was a three-year player at Utah State, with eight starts in 30 games. He was a big play threat for the team as he averaged 17.7 yards per catch as a senior, 29.3 yards per reception as a junior and 27 yards per reception as a sophomore. Last season he played in three games for the Orlando Predators (NAL) and had four catches for 31 yards as a rookie in the arena game.

Colston-Green is the son of two-time Superbowl Champion Willie Green who won the title twice with the Denver Broncos in 1997 and 1998. In a 2017 interview with Wade Denniston for the Deseret News his former outside receivers coach Jovon Bouknight had this to say about Colston-Green “His speed and the way he gets in and out of his routes, he is so athletic, and has been able to contribute in different ways for us that some guys just don’t have.”

When we asked Jaren his thoughts about coming to Cobra Nation he said “I’m very excited about being a part of Cobra Nation and continuing the winning tradition this organization has built”.
