Elon Track and Field Opens Indoor Season at JDL Early Bird Invite

ELON, N.C. – The Elon University women’s track and field team opens its 2019-20 indoor campaign this Sunday, Dec. 8, at the JDL Early Bird Invite. The meet is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m. inside the JDL Fast Track facility.

“I really love this time of year as we get ready for our opening meet of the season,” said Elon Director of Track and Field and Cross Country Mark Elliston. “We have been practicing for about two and a half months and now get to test where we are against other competition. This will be a really good indicator to see where our strengths and weaknesses are heading into the main part of our season starting in January.”
