Bishop McGuinness stole a tough fought victory in the home arena of the Cherokee Braves on Saturday night. The Braves came out aggressive in the 1st quarter but the Villains were paced by Dawson McAlhaney who had 14 in the frame. Point guard Nathan Fuller helped to slow the speedy Cherokee squad and poured in 17 points of his own. Jake Ledbetter sealed the game for the Villains with two huge threes in the 4th and 14 points total. Big man Noah Allred added 15 points hitting shots from all three levels of play. Bishop will head back down the mountain and prepare to start conference play in January.
