Baylor Coach Matt Rhule named as the new head coach of the Carolina Panthers:The “Rhule Rule” has begun in Charlotte

The Carolina Panthers have reached into the college football ranks to find their new head coach, as today the Panthers have named Matt Rhule, the head coach of the Baylor Bears, as their new head coach…Rhule was (19-20) in three overall seasons at Baylor, and his Baylor Bears went (11-3) this past 2019 season, and they were in the Sugar Bowl…

Rhule had success as the head coach at Temple, plus he is a former assistant coach at Western Carolina….The thing that surprises some fans, is the fact that Panthers owner David Tepper went to the college ranks to hire his head coach, and he brings in a head coach with NO NFL head coaching experience, and Rhule has only coached one season in the NFL, as an assistant with the New York Giants…

This will be interesting, as Rhule will now be making and enforcing the team rules, for the Carolina Panthers, and the “Rhule Rule” will be a period where Rhule will be paid 60 million dollars over seven seasons, with incentives that could pay him up to 70 million over those seven seasons….

I for one hope he earns his salary for that entire seven-year stretch, overwise the Panthers will have a large payout coming to a coach that couldn’t cut it, in the NFL…Only time will tell…
