Game Report on Northwest Guilford-Ragsdale Boys Basketball:Hampton with a bunch off of the bench for NWG in the second half, Josh Humphrey adds 16 points in the Vikings’ Victory

NORTHWEST GUILFORD 81, RAGSDALE 72
GAME NOTES:
–Northwest Guilford traveled to Jamestown tonight to square off in a Metro 4A battle against Ragsdale. Northwest got out to an early lead in the first quarter but in the second quarter the pressure of Ragsdale forced some Viking turnovers and Ragsdale would score 32 points in the second quarter and enter halftime up 42-36. In the third quarter the Tigers would jump out to a 13-point lead, but the Vikings would get hot and attack the basket behind Chris Hampton. Hampton would score 26 in the second half and the Vikings would rally winning 81-72.

–Chris Hampton led all Viking scorers with 26 points and would add 2 big blocks. Josh Humphrey had 16 points and 5 rebounds, Dean Reiber had 8 points, Brandon Thomas added 7 points along with 5 assists, Jackson Hartzell had 6 points, Shaq Marsh had 5 points and took 2 charges, Connor Ballou and Drew Watkins added 4 points each, Robbie Boulton had 3 points, 9 assists and 5 rebounds and Khari Carson had 2 points, 5 rebounds and 2 big blocks.
