Glenn saved its best for last, pulling away from East Forsyth down the stretch for a 62-48 victory in Jack Musten Gymnasium in Kernersville Tuesday night. The Eagles led briefly early and managed to keep the margin close throughout the hard-fought Central Piedmont 4A Conference game at East, trailing by one (25-24) just before the half & by three points (42-39) with one minutes left in the third period.

But Glenn executed down the stretch, dominating the offensive boards & missing only five of its 18 free throws while East shot 0-11 from the line for the game. Davionte Moses led the Bobcats with 11 rebounds including three for baskets on the offensive glass.

Micah Gainey led all scorers with 17 points as Glenn took sole possession of second place in the CPC with the win. Zion Dixon added 12 for the winners. Jordan Timmons scored 14 points to lead East Forsyth, which hosts Reagan in a CPC game Friday night.
