  2. The Southern Guilford boys report vs. East Davidson would be coming off of the Wednesday game, and we have the score, from MaxPreps on the SG girls from last night/Thursday vs. Burlington Williams..

    Williams 40, Southern Guilford 15…and that was the girls final…..We will keep looking for the boys..

    The SG girls are reporting to MaxPreps, the SG boys are not…Might be time to hit the Burlington paper…

  3. Nothing in the Burlington paper on SG boys, but did pick up these:

    BOYS
    EASTERN ALAMANCE 58, NORTHEAST GUILFORD 56: At Mebane, Dairus Kane tallied 22 points and the host Eagles and first-year coach Brad Costa earned their first victory of the season, edging out Northeast Guilford in a Mid-State 3-A Conference game.

    Evan Mann contributed eight points for the Eagles (1-1, 1-1).

    Amari Tate led the Rams (1-1, 1-1) with 14 points.

    GIRLS
    EASTERN ALAMANCE 64, NORTHEAST GUILFORD 16: At Mebane, Laila Anderson totaled 23 points, four rebounds, three steals and two assists in a Mid-State 3-A Conference game.

    Hali Watkins provided 13 points, eight rebounds, five steals and four assists for the host Eagles (2-0, 2-0), who nabbed 20 steals as a team on the defensive end. Kyra Jones finished with seven points, five rebounds and five steals.

    Kelsey Barrow scored five points to pace the Rams (0-2, 0-2), who were held to single-digit points in each quarter.
