April 1, 2007 is still the working deadline for the ECHL to award a franchise to Greensboro.
The Greensboro Ice Hockey Booster Club reports that Tim Kerr is still actively working to make this happen. It’s not over for this Fall yet folks. If you still want to reserve Season Tickets, you still can and if Greensboro doesn’t get a team – you get your money back. Details at the Booster Club Website. The refund date has been set as April 15th, if a team is not awarded.
