Questions about Southeast Guilford football?

We have had several google hits recently in our stats box and Southeast Guilford football has been what the people have been typing in and looking for. The Southeast Guilford Falcons coached by Fritz Hesenthaler are picked to finish 3rd in their conference for the upcoming 2007 season.(If you purchase our $50.00 premium service starting in September, we can tell what the coach is having for dinner Monday-Friday)

Eastern Randolph is picked #1 and the Ragsdale Tigers are slated to finish #2 ahead of the Falcons. Southeast lost star runningback Dion Bratcher, LB-Jody Hackett, DB/WR-Ben Areno, LB-Patrick Apple, K-Will Cimino, and a few other key players off of last years’s squad that lost to eventual 3-AA champ Eastern Randolph in round three of the playoffs.

SEG returns pre-season conference Player-of-the-Year Justin Venable. Venable is one of the fastest football players in the state and he will line up in many different places on offense for the Falcons and he will again be one of the toughest men in the region at defensive back.

Last year’s quarterback Luke Stewart returns along with several other important position players. I have’t seen the Falcons work out yet but I hope to get out there on Monday afternoon and find out more about what’s going on. Again in the conference it’s #1 ER, #2 Ragsdale, #3 SEG, and Justin Venable is the pre-season pick for conference Player-of-the-Year.

(I visited the Falcons practice on Monday 8/6/07 and we need to keep an eye on LB’s John York, BJ Aydelette, and Joey Wysocky, plus defensive tackle Brandon Armstrong, and defensive end James Pegues. Pegues is 6’3 230 and he is a beast. On the offensive line watch out for Jason Biggs, 6’3 260. In practice Monday former Falcon Keith Miller was amazed with the work ethic of #60 for SEG. #60 was not wearing pads during the full-contact practice so you know this guy must be tough or just plain crazy going without pads and just wearing a pair of shorts with no protection for his legs whatsoever. Keep an eye on #60, Keith says this kid is crazy and nobody can stop him.)
