Redlands, California puts the hurting on the Patriots

from the Press-Enterprise.com in Riverside, California….

One win from reaching the Palomino World Series title game, a Redlands all-star team ran its way past the U. S. East Zone representative at the Epicenter on Friday night.

Palomino Baseball World Series update out of Rancho Cucamonga, California:

In a 13-0, five-inning mercy-rule win over Guilford, N. C., Redlands opened a huge early lead — 6-0 after one inning and 10-0 after two. Eight of its nine hits were singles, and most of the runs came on opportunistic base running.

No luck or any success so far for the Guilford Patriots as the West Coast is proving to be our Waterloo. Justin Smith and his boys have one game left in the Series to make their mark and that comes up on Saturday.
