CiCi’s Pizza NFL picks contest

*****NFL picks contest with a new sponsor CiCi’s Pizza*****
Rob’s selections:
Baltimore vs Buffalo (BLT) – You have to wonder if Buffalo can recover from their implosion on Monday night a couple of weeks ago. We just don’t see it happening. Trent Edwards is okay, but the Raven’s defense is for real. Baltimore by 10.

Tampa Bay vs Detroit (DET) – Tampa looks great this year and the Lion’s season seems to be losing it’s luster. Despite the Buc’s success, we just don’t see them winning in Detroit this weekend. Kitna and his receivers should take care of business. Lions by three.

Tennessee vs Houston(HOU) – Will Vince Young start or will Kerry Collins have to shake off his hangover and throw the pigskin? Odds right now say Collins will start, thus giving the Texans the advantage. Houston by seven.

New England vs Miami (NE) – Do we actually have to pick this game? Miami stinks! Patriots in a laugher! New England by 24.

San Francisco vs NY Giants (NYG) – Doesn’t matter who plays QB for the 49er’s, this year’s G-men are looking good right now. Expect New York to score early and often in this one. Giants by 17.

Atlanta vs New Orleans (NO) – New Orleans got off the schnide last week up in Seattle and Atlanta lost another one despite early success against the Giants. Look for the Saints to build on their success. New Orleans by three.

Arizona vs Washington (WAS) – Carolina showed us all how bad Arizona really is last week. Washington has been up and down so far this year, but we think Joe Gibbs can best his former division foe this week. Skins by 10.

NY Jets vs Cincinnati (CIN) – What has happened to the Bengals? They just suck this year. The Jets aren’t any better. We don’t have a lot of faith in Cincy, but we have even less in New York. Bengals by three.

Kansas City vs Oakland (OAK) – Culpepper should shred the KC defense this week. Sure, LJ had a good game last week, but if history serves correct this year, the Raiders should get the “W”.
Oakland by 10.

Minnesota vs Dallas (MIN) – Hangover central in Dallas this week. Minnesota, on the other hand, has found a star in Adrian Peterson. QB or not, Vikings will pull this one out. Minnesota by seven.

Chicago vs Philadelphia (PHI) – A battle of two teams searching for an identity. Philly plays great when Westbrook plays. Bears play well when their QB doesn’t do anything stupid. Guess the Bears are in trouble here, Eagles by 10.

St. Louis vs Seattle (SEA) – St Louis is horrible this year. No Bulger, no Jackson, no chance in this one. Despite losing to the winless Saints last week, Seattle should win this handily. Seahawks by 17.

Pittsburgh vs Denver – (PIT) Travis Henry will earn his child support, but Willie Parker will be Denver’s daddy in this game. The guy who wasn’t good enough to carry the ball in Keenan Stadium will run wild over the Broncos in Mile High. Steelers by a TD.

Big Jim’s picks:
Tampa Bay at Detroit(Detroit)
Atlanta at New Orleans(New Orleans)
Tennessee at Houston(Houston)
Arizona at Washington(Washington)

  11. Point of order here. As you guys can see, my Seattle/ St. Louis picks rips St. Louis as going to lose by 17. Jock, please take note that my pick for that game should be Seattle, not St.Louis. I’ll have to pay my editing crew more next week.
