Greensboro Colleges’s Hall and Cabral Named to All Region Team

Greensboro College’s Tessa Hall and Ashley Cabral were selected to the 2007 women’s soccer all region team.

Cabral, a senior, was named the USA South Conference’s player of the year. She led the USAS in both points and goals. Cabral set a Pride record with 26 goals (second in the nation), including 6 game-winners, and was named All-USAS for her fourth consecutive season. She ended her career with 109 points (47 goals, 15 assists), which places her second all-time.

Sophomore defender Tessa Hall (Ragsdale HS) also was named first team all-conference. She dished out a USA South record 19 assists on the season. Hall also scored three goals and was named the conference’s defensive player of the week in mid-October.

Cabral and Hall helped Greensboro post a 14-4-1 mark to set a school record for wins in a season. Both were also named to NCCSIA all state team and the NSCAA regional third team.
