Guilford College Athletics Update

Guilford’s baseball team won its first game of 2008 Friday night, 7-3, at Atlanta Christian College. Brad Buchman belted his second home run in as many days for the Quakers. Alex Starbuck had two hits, including a two-run double in Guilford’s five-run sixth inning. Josh Lane picked up the win in relief. The Quakers’ women’s basketball team fell at league-rival Bridgewater College Friday night, 63-52. Ann Seufer led three Quakers in double-figure scoring with 14 points and a career-high 10 rebounds for her first collegiate double-double.
