Greensboro Womens Basketball Defeats Peace, Wins Two Honors

Raleigh, N.C. – Danielle Duncan score 20 points and Dione Eccles had 18 as Greensboro College won at Peace College, 74-53, in a USA South game on Monday night.

The Pride improved to 15-7, 12-3, while the Pacers dropped to 5-17, 1-14.

Duncan was 9-14 from the field and grabbed 11 rebounds for her eighth double-double of the season. Eccles made 6-6 free throws for the visitors.

Thirteen of the 15 players who saw action for Greensboro scored. The Pride won the battle of the boards 63-31.

GC went on a 7-0 run over the last 2:11 of the first half and led 29-20 at the break. The Pride outscored Peace 45-33 in the final 10 minutes.

Leanne Horne had 11 points for Peace.
