Greensboro, N.C. — Jennifer Donah scored 5 goals and passed for 2 assists as Greensboro College defeated Ferrum College, 22-6, in a USA South match at Pride Field on Thursday.
The win was the second straight for The Pride, which improved to 2-5 and 2-1 in conference. Ferrum is 1-3 and 0-1.
GC built a 5-0 lead early in the game and was ahead 12-4 at the break. The home team netted the first 7 goals of the second half.
Christina Denney had 4 goals and one assist, Caroline Young and Ashely Nolen both scored 3 times and recorded one helper.
The Pride held a 22-7 edge on Draws and out shot the Panthers 37-8.
Olivia Mendoza recorded 4 goals for GC and goalkeeper Velena Taylor stopped 9 shots for Ferrum. Stacey Pulskamp got the win in the cage for GC and is now 2-3.
