Greensboro Mens Lacrosse: W&L 13, GC 4

Greensboro, N.C. — Will Englehart netted 5 goals and Tim Skeen added 2 goals and 5 assists as Washington & Lee defeated Greensboro College, 13-4, at Pride Field on Saturday.

Brian Bishop scored a goal and dished 3 assists for The Pride. Jordan Drumheller recorded 2 goals for the home team.

Englehart scored the game’s first 2 goals. GC, however, responded with 2 man-up tallies from Drumheller. Bishop got assists on both plays. The Generals added another goal and led 3-2 after the first period.

The Generals led 7-3 at halftime. Andrew Reidenbacker had a second quarter score off a Bishop assists for Greensboro.

W&L had 38 shots to 30 for The Pride and won 12-17 draws. Mike Foderaro stopped 12 shots for and Connor Locke had 13 for W&L.

Nick Patrone scored with 7:08 remaining in the game for The Pride’s lone second half goal.

W&L improved to 4-3 while GC is now 1-7.
