Arlington, Va. — Andrew Reidenbacker scored off an assist from Brandon Savage with 2:20 left in regulation as Greensboro College won at Marymount, 11-10, on Saturday.
The Pride improved to 2-7 while Marymount dropped to 5-5.
Reidenbacker had 2 goals and Savage dished 2 helpers in the game. Jordan Drumheller led the GC offense with 3 goals and one assist.
GC led 4-2 after the first quarter. Nick Patrone (2 goals) opened the second period scoring and gave the visitors the biggest lead of the game at 5-2 with 13:28 before halftime. In the closely contested game, no team led by more than 2 goals the rest of the way.
The Saints had 43 shots to 39 for The Pride. Mike Foderaro had 15 saves for GC while Alex Hammer had 20 stops for MU.
Kirk Beville won 9-14 draws for The Pride. Chris Wascak potted 4 goals and dished one assist for Marymount.
