Greensboro Drops Series-Opener in Hagerstown, 2-1…

Hagerstown, Md. – Friday’s series-opener against Hagerstown lasted just over two hours and saw Greensboro drop its second-straight, one-run game as the Hoppers were held to three hits in the 2-1 loss.

Kyle Kaminska was tagged with the loss despite giving up only two runs on six hits in five frames. Kaminska walked two and struck out four during his time on the mound before Jay Voss and Peter Andrelczyk combined to shut out Hagerstown for the final three innings of the contest.

Greensboro returns to Municipal Stadium for game two of the series Saturday beginning at 7:05 p.m. RHP Brett Durand is expected to get the start for the Hoppers.
